Who cares about the person’s attitude as long as someone can do the job?

You shouldn’t worry too much about it, right?

Decipher the answer to this question after you read the following:

Attitude:

Its roots are inwards, but its fruits are outwards.

It can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

It can draw people to us or repel them.

It is the librarian of our past.

It is the speaker of our present.

It is the prophet of our future.

Good attitudes don’t guarantee success, but bad attitudes guarantee failure.

In ‘The Winners Edge’ Denis Waitley stated, “The winners’ edge is in the attitude, not aptitude.”

Unfortunately, many people believe that talent with experience is alone enough,

But friends, attitude has the power to either lift you up or tear you down.

If you want outstanding results, you need great talent ‘and’ awesome attitudes.

Several things like talent, experience and willingness to practice are not contagious.

But attitude is.

People become inspired by their peers.

We tend to adopt the attitudes of those we spend time with.

The only thing more catching than a good attitude is a bad attitude.

But a negative attitude not only hurts people, but also the person who has it himself.

But what is ‘attitude’?

Attitude is an inward feeling expressed by behavior.

That’s the reason why an attitude can be seen without a word being said.

Many a times we interact with someone for the first time and suspect that his/her attitude is poor, yet unable to put your finger on it.

We all notice ‘the pout’ of the sulker or the ‘jutted jaw’ of the determined.

Of all the things we wear, our expression is the most important.

Sometimes an attitude can be masked outwardly.

But the cover-ups don’t last long.

There is a constant struggle as the original attitude tries to wiggle its way out.

A hardened attitude is a dreaded disease.

It causes a closed mind and a dark future.

When attitude is positive, the mind expands, and the progress begins.

For some, attitude presents a difficulty in every opportunity; for others, it presents an opportunity in every difficulty.

Some climb with a positive attitude while others fall with a negative perspective.

The very fact that an attitude ‘makes some’ while ‘breaking others’ is significant enough for us to know its importance.

We are individually responsible for our own view of life.

This truth has been known for ages: For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Our attitude towards action in life helps determine what happens to us.

Almost daily we experience that you can’t get along with some people, yet you can’t make it without them.

That’s why it is crucial to build proper relationships with others in this crowded world.

The Stanford Research Institute states:

87.5% people knowledge + 12.5% product knowledge = Success.

That is why Teddy Roosevelt said, “The most important single ingredient to the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.”And why John D Rockefeller said, “I will pay more for the ability to deal with people than any other ability under the sun.”

Until we walk in the other person’s shoes and see life through another’s eyes, we will be like the man who angrily jumped out of his car after a collision with another car. “Why don’t you people watch where you’re driving?” He shouted wildly. “You are the 4th car I have hit today.”

There’s a very little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference.

The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.

What successful people find to be true becomes even clearer to them when they become leaders.

There is no success without an attitude of sacrifice.

The higher the level of success you want to reach, the greater the sacrifice you will have to make.

To go up you have to give up.

That, is the power of the right attitude.
